For me, this town has everything I really love: the lake, the mountains and a beautiful town centre. [&#8230;] I\u2019d really love to be able to come back to Annecy for many summers (and winters!). It\u2019s a wonderful town \u2013 particularly the water sports, the food and the friendly people \u2013 and I\u2019m sure future CILFA students will love it too!   <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Jenny, United States<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Annecy is a very peaceful town surrounded by nature, so you can easily [&#8230;] focus on learning French. What\u2019s more, it offers plenty of activities and sports, so you\u2019ll have a good balance between your studies and your leisure time. In my opinion, life in Annecy is very pleasant and I\u2019d recommend living here.  <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Kazuko, Japan<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I saw Annecy, I realized that this city was the right place for me. I chose it because it is truly beautiful [&#8230;] with a lovely lake where you can swim and have a picnic. [&#8230;] Annecy is located near Geneva [in Switzerland], which has a major airport. For me, this is very important because I often have to travel to Moscow and other countries.   <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Olesya, Russia<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[For me], Annecy is a more charming town [&#8230;] and one that reveals many different sides to it in summer. There are loads of things to do and we\u2019re surrounded by nature. [&#8230;] During August, I was quite busy at the weekends because it\u2019s really easy to visit several places within a 30-minute drive. [&#8230;] Then there are lots of major cities nearby. It\u2019s handy to fly from Geneva [&#8230;] or to visit museums or good restaurants.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personally, I think it\u2019s important to choose accommodation in Annecy town centre so that everything is within easy reach and you can get about much more efficiently without a car. [&#8230;] I often pop into the old town to do some shopping in the morning or spend some time at the cinema.
