Welcome to the comic book workshop at CILFA!

On Monday, August 14, CILFA students immersed themselves in the creative world of comic books, which are very popular in France.

• French-language comic strips

Have you heard of Tintin, Asterix, Gaston Lagaffe, or Aya de Yopougon? They’re all characters from French-language comic books. Comic books (or BD), which tell stories through drawings and speech bubbles, are a very popular genre in France, and there are all kinds of them for every type of reader!

• The Comic Book Workshop of CILFA

For CILFA students, comics are also an excellent way to learn and practice the French language! So, after discovering French and Francophone comic books, they put their skills as artists and writers to the test in stories featuring CILFA teachers (Frédéric, Marion…) as well as world-famous stars like Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé!
