The next term begins on 7 October, and with the return of autumn come the return of CILFA’s free workshops!

In fact, every year, from October to June, in addition to the lessons in French language and courses to prepare for the DELF, the CILFA offers free of charge to its students a series of workshops that enable them to practise phonetics and conversation.

The Phonetics Workshop

On Tuesday afternoons, a CILFA teacher leads phonetics sessions for up to 14 people. The teacher then usually offers students a more personalised session on a computer, giving them tailored advice.

The Conversation Workshop

Des séances de conversation sont proposées les jeudis après-midi. Les étudiants ont la possibilité de s’exprimer à l’oral en petits groupes et/ou tous ensemble. Cette pratique permet de réutiliser les éléments vus en classe et de se sentir plus à l’aise avec la langue française.

The other free services offered by CILFA

In addition to phonetics and conversation workshops, CILFA offers its students other free services:

• Resource Center: All year round, you can borrow books tailored to your level (grammar, vocabulary, etc.) and DVDs with French subtitles

• Tutoring on Mondays from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.: from October to June, a CILFA teacher is available to help students with their French learning if they wish.

• Wi-Fi free for the students of CILFA

• Cafeteria on Tuesday and on Thursday during the break at 10:30 a.m.
