Friday, February 2, was Candlemas (the pancake festival). The CILFA students made galettes (savory pancakes) and sweet pancakes with their teacher.
Last week, CILFA students participated in a colloquial language activity. After a brief introduction by their teacher, they headed out into the city in pairs to ask French people questions!
On Wednesday, ten CILFA students, accompanied by two teachers, went up to the Semnoz ski resort for a snowshoeing outing.
Recently, a group of CILFA students met with a travel professional, Mr. Patron, who is the founder of the travel agency “La Route des Voyages.” (more…)

The CILFA winter session is coming to an end. To mark the occasion, the students in Group B1 decided to write an article sharing their impressions of their adopted country: France.
Learning French isn’t the easiest thing to do—that’s no secret! Taking a French class at CILFA is already a big (and good!) decision, but some aspects also require some personal effort. For example: vocabulary.
How can you go about memorizing effectively these lists of endless words < a8> by your friendly French teacher ?
The spring session has just begun at CILFA. A new group is participating in the educational activities. The somewhat unpredictable weather didn’t stop a few students from visiting the city of Annecy last Wednesday.
